work in ATT manholes duties include water sampling ,air monitors being calibrated,blowers and

other equipment is working properly. also overhead inspections on pole transfers and GO95

infractions .

Supervise students and transferees in safe pole climbing operations with Digger derricks Aerial

and Underground Cable placing and Cable removal with heavy equipment Hogg Davis, Telsta

T-40, all OSP Construction in accordance with GO95 aspects. Also teach pole guying and weight

distribution on poles, pre fielding heights and measuring, have worked with O Calc and Google

Earth in the aspects in engineering. Also have instructed fiber construction for new projects in

ground man and assisted cable splicing technicians. Worked as an apprentice cable splicer

terminations. Performed GO128 inspections.

Pacific Bell- Outside Plant Technician- Oakland, CA

Worked as an Outside Plant Technician/ Service Technician and Operator for Pacific Bell. I was

responsible for placing fiber optic cable. I developed splicing skills and performing ‘A’ cuts,

removed cables from aerial, underground and in-building connection points. I also placed cables

from aerial, underground, and building connection points. Experienced with operating Telsta

equipment, Line Truck Rewinder, Pulling Truck, pole placing and pole removal, pre-fielding.

Working knowledge of all facets of outside plant construction to the central office Also

performed Go95 quality inspections

Also responsible for holding joint meetings in the field with CATV, PG&E and Underground

Construction Companies. Assisted engineers with redesigning jobs. Placed cable for CATV and

performed pole transfers involving CATV. Placed CATV system in Palo Alto that connected to

Stanford University in 1987.

Assisted with emergency cable placement at the Cypress freeway Disaster in 1989. Inspected

cables on the San Francisco Bay Bridge for Earthquake damage. Received a Certificate of

Achievement from Pacific Bell for work performed.
